Synopsis:
The upcoming sequel w, ill revolve around the cooperation investigation of a North Korean detective, a South Korean detective, and a man from the FBI. The series will be directed by Lee Seok Hoon ("The Himalayas," "The Pirates," "Dancing Queen," and more).
Hyun Bin will continue his role as Im Chul Ryung, a North Korean detective who will return to South Korea to unfold the secret criminal organization. Yoo Hae Jin will play the role of Kang Jin Tae, the South Korean detective. He will volunteer to work alongside North Korea so that he can return to the investigation team.
Daniel Henney will be the new face of the film. He will play the role named Jack and he is part of the FBI.

In the trailer, it was shown that the elite North Korean detective Im Chul Ryung and South Korean detective Kang Jin Tae reunited once again. As the two head on to cooperate for another mission, Jack from the FBI will appear.
Park Min Young played by Im Yoon Ah also appeared in the teaser showing her unwavering affection for Im Chul Ryung.
The villain of the film, Jang Myung Joon was also shown which will be portrayed by Jin Seon Kyu.
"Confidential Assignment 2: International" will be open to Korean theaters this coming September.
